We're close to the end of the presentation a conclusion is the last part of presentation about what you've been presented.

 We must write a conclusion containing the summary of the presentation and the importance of this presentation and the important points in the presentation, the conclusion should not be long, in the end in the last slide you should thank them for their time.

time to DISCUSSION

In this weak in my PPT I add to my learner time to discuss some question about my presentation to tack out the new different ideas from the learner.

When your presentation is over, lead the class in a discussion of the ideas or issues mentioned in the subject of presentation and you must make plan to your DISCUSSION , the first thing in your plan is:

   
· What topics do you want to cover.
·  Determine the order what I want to discuss.
·  What shall I do if no one speaks.
·   Find good way to silence people .
·   The important thing is to determine a specific time.

 you have to put all this in mind in to lead a successful DISCUSSION , Also from the discussion you will know that the presentation was successful and you will also know if the learner understands the presentation or not.

The learner will benefit from the discussion, the new ideas come out and make them learn from the ideas of each other and discuss the problems that are united in the subject of the presentation and looking for solutions.

All this tools make the PPT attractive and organize and beautiful if the teacher used in good way. And also this tools help teacher deliver the information to student in easy way beacons it is useful than traditional way (black board).

The learner will be focus and attract to the lesson and will not feel poring because it is new way of teaching for him so that will help the student and also the teacher.

I used this way in my class and help me very much to deliver the information to student in perfect way. And I still use this way. This is the one benefit of this module on me and also in my student. 

what is portfolio

From my search I found the portfolio is a group of materials that content your beliefs, skills, qualifications, education, training and experiences.  

And also i learned putting together a portfolio itself will help me to become a more effective interviewee , and help me to identify my skills and gathering my experiences and you must save  everything you create in organize way and presented in your own creative style.

The way of creating a portfolio, firstly you must utilize Google Sites to create your portfolio https://sites.google.com. After that create your page in your one design with your all information.   

That benefit the learner to gathering his works, skills or ideas related to specific object during the academic year and reflect what he learn.

the types of animation in PPT

In my previous blog I talked about animation and animation pane and today I want to talk about the types of animation in the PowerPoint.   When I say “types” I do not mean animation effects themselves but I mean the several types of the appearance of effects.

 This animation is divided into four types:

1- Entrance.

2- Emphases.

3- Exits.

4 -Motion Paths.

1- Entrance: We use this type of animation to introduce a slide object or the basic thing in your slide.

2 -Emphases: we use this type of animation to animate the slide object already appear on a slide the  slide move in same place. 

3 -Exits: We use this type of animation to emerge and disappear of what you want in your slide.

4- Motion Paths: and this type we use to move slide objects in its place like type tow to attract the attention of the learner .

We must be careful about timing the appear and disappear of animation. From the animation pane to control the time. And we also can us the four types in one slide.

I used this technique in my presentation. This technique will help the learner to be more attention more attract to the presentation and will help teacher to deliver the information to his learner in perfect simple way.

adding audio to my PPT

In the last week in my PPT I add to my slide small quiz + audio and I explained why I make this quiz in my last blog.

Now I need to explain how adding audio specify when the audio should start and how long it .

The method: first I click on insert and select from the ribbon “Audio” and select from “Audio menu” record audio and then record  what you want to say and save it , after that select animation (There is Specific animation for Audio) It gives you options to choose which you want to open the audio automatically or to click on it.

  There is information that if explained orally will benefit the learner more than read it  , The learner will use his ears instead of his eyes so that will make him not feel bored and also to move the sense of hearing that will increase the concentration of the learner. (We must make sure that the audio is not long, and tell all the important information in a short time) So that the learner does not feel bored.

For this week for my PPT

For this week for my PPT I make small quiz, I gave the learner equation with 3 choices  to help the learner to choose the right answers.

I used some picture to attract them and some action, after that I putted the equation and make hyperlink to the right and wrong answer tacks the learner to the slide of the answer.   

This will help the learner to concentrate to the next slide because will expected another quiz.

And also that makes me know if the learner understands, attention or not.

"transition effects"  is special effects between each slide it is smooth move between slide It looks like an animation you can add sound and also you can make it fast or slow.

His method is very easy  the way of used it , go to the  ribbon and select “transition” It will open up the list of a total of transition, You must choose one that is suitable for your presentation

After that go to the “effect options” To determine where to show you from the front or from the right according to your opinion.

The “transition effects “I really liked it because attracts the viewer and makes him excited for the second slide.

How to Use the Animation Pane in PowerPoint

We us Animation Pane to displays the animation on our slide.  

The Steps Of Using the Animation Pane in PowerPoint:   

Go to the Animations menu in the ribbon and chose Suitable animation to your text or images after that click on animation pane will open a menu in your right hand side of your slide

This menu content of the images or text with the animation you already added, after that click on the text or images in the menu there’s an arrow will appear click on it, after that click on star with previous (  For anything you want to show first,  image or text ) .

After that click on star after previous (for anything you want to show after the first previous    text or image).   And also you need to determine the duration of appear of your image or text (in the same menu you will click on timing and select the time of appear, if you wanted fast or slow)

Throw the Animation Pane the Viewer will not need to use the keyboard.

  According to Power Point I learned how to make home page “content page” content anything in your presentation.

We put a shape of home in the bottom of all slide  to help viewer  to back fast to home page “content”. 

How we can make hyperlink to all slide with home page? 

We select from “shapes” home shape  and  bout it in the bottom of  all slide  , after that we make hyper link to all slide with home page “content”.

That mean in all slides when we click on home shape, take the viewer to home page "content" of presentation.

What I added to my skills

What I added to my skills, I learned how to link slides with another slide or picture, shapes with another slide or topic. So when I need to do this I go to insert shapes and click on Action after that I Select what the slide I need to link it. That helps me to Mack a good nonlinear PowerPoint.

I have learned

Rely I have learned many thing from this module for example by commenting on the blogs of my colleagues I learn how to have an examiner eye and this develop my critical thinking.

On the other hand I learn how to accept criticism and benefit from it to develop myself in the next time.

And I learned from ppt how to deliver and present your information or your lesson or anything you want to show to the audience in attractive organize way to make them exciting and make them not feel bored.

amazing day

Today was amazing day it was my first time to us technology in my classroom.
i use Power Point to explain to my student in grade one the topic of what animals need I add some picture and some sound to attract them in the middle of the presentation I put small video to attract them more, at the end of the lesson I put small quiz to be sure I deliver information in the right way. 
Student was very happy to this new thing, they wanted me to rebated again but the time is not enough, rely technology is useful more than the traditional way because the  student love this thing and take his all attention .

blending technology with education

I have learned from this module how to blend technology with education and I will try this in my classroom in science subject.The topic about what animals need, my plan to this topic is create attractive Power Point. use picture and some animation to attract them , and I will show you the result of this experience ,and the deferent when use technology and the traditional material .

What I have learned from ICT

 In the first and second blog, There were things very confused to me,I was thinking what can i write in the blog is it something about technology or something related to technology , but when i read the comment of Dr. imad  everything be clear to me . And I understood should i write about the reflection of this module to me and what I learned.
And I learned many things for example when i taking a picture or information from site i must write the sours of the picture or information. The impact of technology on life is not measured We use technology in different ways and sometimes this ways hurt our lives or the society in which we live.technology show people a more efficient way to do things For example, education has been greatly advanced by the technological advances of computers . 
technology helped the teacher and the student and facilitated many things for them. 

Using technology in the wrong way can distract people from some functions in life such as no face to face contact and social isolation obesity and depression . 

  

ICT in education

(ICT) it is a comunication devise ,service  I think can  transform education for the better.It is easy for the teacher to collect information and also facilitates the method of teaching. It helps explain and deliver information to students easily and also helps the student to learn for example (Distance learning).
